Data we collect
When you sign up for AlertasPrecios, we collect your email address, which is the only personal data required. We also store the products you add to your alerts, the associated price history, and the notification preferences you set (email, push notification, Telegram).
We do not collect your name, surname, phone number, postal address, or payment details.
Purpose of processing
The data collected is used exclusively to provide the alerts service: sending you notifications when a product's price drops or an item becomes available again, as well as to manage your account and preferences.
We do not use your data for advertising purposes, profiling, or communications unrelated to the contracted service.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is the user's consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when creating your account and setting up each alert. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account from the app settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be permanently erased within a maximum of 30 days. Anonymized price history for products may be kept for statistical purposes, with no link to any user.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. To send alert emails we may use a transactional email provider that acts as a data processor under a confidentiality agreement and with the guarantees required by the GDPR. No third party has access to your data for its own purposes.
Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, including encrypting communications via HTTPS and storing passwords in hashed form. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
